FACILITIES

Please help yourself to refreshments from the tea and coffee station, and from The Hub on the ground floor. Thame has a number of wonderful cafes and eateries available a short walk from OX9 Thame for lunch breaks.

Toilets are located on the same floor as our coworking suite.  Additional facilities are also available on ground and first floor levels.

This is a shared workspaceplease be considerate of other coworkers by following these key guidelines:

Wear noise‑cancelling headphones for phone or video calls and avoid long private conversations at your desk.

If you need a quieter environment, more privacy, or have lots of calls to make  which might disturb other coworkers, we have a number of upgrade options available to give you more space and privacy:  The Cellar is available for as little as £22 + vat per hour (virtual office clients receive 15% discount). We also have a Day Office service available, providing a private office space for up to 2 people for £75 + vat per day (8.45am – 5pm). It’s ideal when coworking isn’t suitable for the work you need to do, and comes without any contract or tie. Contact hello@ox9thame.co.uk to enquire & book).

Keep shared desks tidy: clear away personal items and rubbish at the end of your session so the next person finds a fresh workspace.

Be mindful of power outlets and cables to ensure the space is safe for everyone using it and if you move any equipment, please return to where you found it.

USE OF COMMUNAL SPACES

The Hub and the Courtyard are shared areas for all OX9 clients and visitors to enjoy:

  • Keep The Hub doors open to maintain accessibility
  • Wear noise‑cancelling headphones for short phone or video calls
  • The Courtyard is intended for short comfort breaks and fresh air away from your desk – please respect its peaceful atmosphere
  • For both areas, clear away personal items and any litter ready for the next person.

The Hub and The Courtyard are shared spaces for all OX9 clients and visitors to enjoy. Please use these spaces considerately and note the following guidelines:

  • Please keep The Hub doors open at all times for accessibility
  • The Hub is a communal space, designed to be used and enjoyed by all guests and visitors. Its main purpose is to provide a beautiful breakout space where you can enjoy a coffee and take timeout from your desk.  For occasional, unavoidable calls, please wear noise-cancelling headphones and keep disruption to a minimum
  • If you need space to make phone/video calls, hold meetings, or require a private, ad-hoc workspace, The Cellar is available for as little as £22 + vat per hour (residents receive 20% discount, and virtual office clients receive 15% discount).
  • Once you have finished in The Hub, please clear away all personal items, place used items in the dishwasher and ensure surfaces are left clean and tidy for anyone using the space after you
  • The Courtyard is intended for comfort breaks and mindful rest away from your desk – please respect its peaceful atmosphere
  • Our team work hard to keep OX9 clean, safe, welcoming, and professional for everyone. Please treat our staff, fellow clients and visitors with courtesy and respect. Any form of abusive, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour will be treated seriously.  If you experience or witness unacceptable behaviour, please report it to the managing director immediately.

Thank you for helping us to keep these areas comfortable and welcoming for everyone.

We have two meeting room facilities available – The Cellar, here in OX9 and MR1 in our Chinnor Centre:

This service is provided by FCC Environment. In line with the recent change in Government legislation, our waste and recycling arrangements have been updated and we now have 1 x general waste bin, 1 x food bin (both located in bin store) and 1 x mixed recycling bin (located outside of bin store).

FCC collect the Mixed Recycling and General Waste bins weekly on a Friday. The Food bin is collected weekly on a Thursday.

Please use the following bin guide to help us recycle responsibly:

BLUE BIN – DRY RECYCLABLES

✔️ Paper

✔️ Cardboard (flatten boxes)

✔️ Plastic bottles (squashed)

✔️ Metal cans

✔️ Glass bottles and jars

✔️ Milk cartons

Important note: As the bins are a shared, communal facility, they must not be used to dispose of large volumes of packaging or general waste. Excess cardboard, including any cardboard that can’t be flattened should be taken home or to the household recycling centre.

BLACK BIN – GENERAL WASTE

✔️ Clingfilm

✔️ Chocolate / biscuit / crisp wrappers

✔️ Cereal box liners

✔️ Bubble wrap

✔️ Coffee cups

✔️ Kitchen rolls

✔️ Paper towels

✔️ Any unrecyclable waste

RED BIN OUTSIDE & CADDY BINS – FOOD WASTE

✔️ Fruit peels

✔️ Banana skins

✔️ Teabags and coffee grinds

✔️ All food leftovers

Note: all food items should be disposed of in the food caddies provided in communal areas (The Hub & The Cellar). No food items can be disposed of in office suites, with the exception of suite: 8 – SHARPE 1841, suite: 14 – ALLSOPP 1969 & suite: 15 – LONGTHORP 1969; these suites are provided with food caddies as they have in-suite kitchen facilities.
